Healthy Weight: Healthy Wales Strategy
Healthy Weight: Healthy Wales is the Welsh Government’s ten year plan to transform the way we make decisions in everyday life which impact upon our weight and wellbeing. The Strategy is set out across four themes: Healthy Environments, Healthy Settings, Healthy People and Leadership and Enabling Change. The renewed priorities, published as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, includes a commitment to support digitalisation of Nutrition Skills for Life® – see Priority Area 4: Commence delivery of the revised obesity pathway.
How can we help?
Enabling the continuation, through virtual delivery, of all our community-based training and initiatives will ensure people can continue to access and benefit from the programme. The Level 2 Community Food and Nutrition Skills course and Level 2 Community Food and Nutrition Skills for the Early Years course; Foodwise for Life, Foodwise in Pregnancy, Community Food and Nutrition Skills (Level 1), Get Cooking and Come and Cook have all been adapted for virtual delivery.
