Focus on prevention
Public Health Dietitians and other Allied Health Professionals are passionate about supporting people to make lifestyle changes that can help them to be as fit and well as they can be for as long as possible. Prevention is better than cure and making small , realistic lifestyle changes now can make a big difference to our health and wellbeing in the longer term. Eating a healthy balanced diet combined with being physically active, not smoking and if we drink alcohol, keeping within the recommended amounts and numbers of days over which it is consumed will all make a big difference to our long term health.
